Started in Hamilton in 2011, Gorilla Cheese is one of the most popular food trucks in Ontario. With memorable appearances on CBC’s Dragons’ Den and the Food Network’s Eat Street, the big, black truck has wowed crowds in the streets, and at festivals and events from Niagara Falls to Toronto and beyond. While the truck turns heads everywhere it goes, it’s the food that makes Gorilla Cheese a real star! Their BIG grilled cheese sandwiches are unlike any you’ve ever tasted. Popular favourites like their classic grilled cheese, The O.G. (Original Gorilla), or The Lumberjack, with bacon, Granny Smith apples, real maple syrup and aged Cheddar, are must-haves for foodies, festival-goers and kids alike!
We started supplying Hamilton independent coffee shops and grocery stores with fresh donuts made at The Kitchen Collective in 2015. Our shop on Locke Street opened in 2018 and now our donuts are available seven days a week.
The Donuts: Our yeast-risen dough is soft with a light chew. We pride ourselves on creating unique seasonal glazes and garnishes in combinations you may have never seen on a donut before. Our flavour menu is ever-evolving and we offer both vegan and traditional options.
CRAFT BEER MARKET
CRAFT Beer Market is a premium casual restaurant with a passion for fresh local food and great craft beer. Launched in Calgary in 2011, the CRAFT movement has been spreading ever since, bringing our special recipe of sophisticated comfort food, unique craft beers and active community involvement to new cities every year. Located at the corner of Yonge and Adelaide, our Toronto location boast the largest draft beer selection in Canada, with over 150 taps. Serving fresh, local, sustainable food as well as wine, spirits and ciders too, CRAFT has a something for everyone!
Restauranteur Donnie Blais launched the original Rancho Relaxo in the late ’90s, and although the Kensington Market location eventually closed, his granddaughter, Angela Blais, launched a new Rancho Relaxo on Dupont Street in 2015. She modernized the original concept, adapting to the fast-paced Toronto lifestyle.
The community and localized focus of Rancho Relaxo creates a family friendly atmosphere, and their restaurant’s food truck can be seen at local fairs and events. Inside the restaurant kids are welcome, and the restaurant offers small distractions such as toy dinosaurs to occupy kids while their parents eat.
BREAD HEADS WOOD FIRE PIZZA
We make great wood fired pizzas at our restaurant on Duke Street in Kitchener, and at events across Ontario with two mobile wood fired ovens!
